Today my agent gave me a list of publishers she sent the GoD and DoG book proposal to. It's exciting...but unpredictable. I have no idea how publishers will react to GoD and DoG as a book. Here is a wonderful letter I received today...wow.

I recently embarked on a journey back to God; alcoholism had placed a chasm between us. That's why the most meaningful words in your song -- to me, at least -- are "I'm the one who walks away. But both of them just wait for me, and dance at my return with glee". The thought of God dancing with glee at my return to Him is one of the most wonderful things I have ever imagined.Thank you, thank you, thank you. -Brian

Hi Wendy...

I just heard your God and Dog song. Thank you so much for that. It brought tears of love, and yes, shame, to my eyes. I have been starting down a path to get closer to God, and have been very very blessed. I also have two dogs: Indiana and Copper.

Thanks again,

J

See Wendy! I told you it would make a great book! Congrats on getting a literary agent and prayers for a great opportunity to come out of it real soon!! And to think I saw your sweet video when it was only 230 views...amazing! I just told a friend about your puppies. He may be contacting you. Hopefully they aren't all spoken for already.

Thank you so much for creating this simple truth about God and Dog. They both are always there for us - it is when we are in our "drama" that we lose connection with God. But God is always there when we open our heart.

I will be airing your song on the local community radio station here on Salt Spring in BC. We celebrate indie artists. Thank you again for a refreshing simple truth.

Shanti,
radha

The song is simply wonderful. The analogy is so apt. "I wish I could be the person my dog thinks I am..."

Keep up the good work, Wendy.

Thank you for sharing your amazing work with us. Your songs speak to me more than any gospel songs ever written. I believe that if anyone can bring peace among the religions, it's you. God bless you, Wendy.

I've always been a church going person and an animal lover. I lost 2 children and had to have my dog put to sleep 9 years ago. For Christmas I was given a little Chorkie and he truly is a comfort and a companion much like God. You were definitely inspired and I know your book will touch many, as it did me! Bless your heart!

Thank you for such an uplifting video! I had to include your DoG and DoG clip on my recent blog post titled..."What's WITH single 30 year-old women and their dogs?"...says the A##HOLE. Check it out and get a big chuckle at www.myflirty30s.com

This clip is a great tribute to a dog's unconditional love. :)

I thought your video was beautiful and touching. This touches on the loving, forgiving nature of God that was see in our pets. You expressed it perfectly and it deeply touched my heart as I was reminded of the dogs (and cats) in my life. But just like God, the dog's love and life are so often taken for granted and forgotten. Again, you gave us an eloquent reminder. Thank you so much.

i just viewed your delightful video today...sent to me by a dear friend. it mad me cry, thinking of my beloved dog , bailey, who we put down (hate that expression) last mothers day. it makes me cry to know god loves me as much too... i'd love to share your video on my blog, but would like your permission (blessing) first.

A friend directed me to your book/music. I confess I'm a doubter. But this was wonderful EVEN for me. Publisher's may be stand-offish because of what they may perceive as a limited audience, but I think your story works for far more people than a narrow-minded publisher might think. Let's hope your work finds itself to a thoughtful editor instead. BEST of luck with this beautiful project.
